Abstract

PLIM is a software developed by DeepSoft as a Petrel plugin capable of calculating the limit of the water injection pressure in a reservoir utilizing as the injection pressure limit the criteria of faults reactivation of such reservoir. Using geometric parameters from the reservoir and from the reservoir faults, the software searches in a data base with results from mechanical analysis executed before, in finite elements, the areas in which the injection pressure exceeds the limit pressure.
